| Donate Used Soccer Equipment to Help Children Around the World |
|
This year at the Cornucopia Cup tournament, we are working with
World Vision to
collect soccer balls and other soccer equipment for kids around the world who don't
have the money for basic soccer supplies. In many places in the world, kids make
their own soccer balls by tying bags and old clothes into a round ball shape and
they don't have any shin-guards, shoes or other equipment that are common for
soccer teams in the United States. SCFC invites you to help these less fortunate
players by donating used balls and other serviceable soccer equipment to World
Vision's "Get a Kick Out of Sharing" program. World Vision is an international
humanitarian organization dedicated to helping children reach their full potential
in over 100 countries. A collection center at the Cornucopia Cup tournament HQ at
the Kent Pea Patch in North Green River Park will be available for you to drop off
any donations.
